THE PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Sweetwater Oaks Garden Club

Every season is an opportunity to enjoy the next cycle of new growth in our gardens. We hope you will share your gardening successes and challenges with us in the coming year. We have so much to learn from each other.

We welcome our members, both existing and new, to a garden club year of monthly educational programs and fun opportunities: field trips, plant sales, floral design workshops, our annual Card Party and Garden Fair. Details and information are published in this beautiful Yearbook, in our monthly newsletters and on our website.

We are part of a large garden club organizations: the National Garden Club (www.gardenclub.org) and the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (www.ffgc.org) who offer a wealth of fun and educational opportunities, some are available online.

Our club is in Division VII of the FFGC. As you can see, we are connected to gardeners across the country, sharing our love of gardening and friendship within our clubs and communities.

Our members are well known for their warm, welcoming and “Can-Do“ attitudes.  I am looking forward to working together to make this a fun year.
